Overview of Positions:
John Kline Septic Services is looking to add to our team. You will be operating a pump truck, box truck or work van to service residential and commercial septic tanks, holding tanks, pump stations, and grease traps. You will also be trained to operate a high-pressure sewer jetter and cable machines. We are a 24/7 service company. You will have regular hours but you will also be part of a rotating on-call schedule, approximately 1 week per month. To apply please fill out the form below.
Job Duties Include:
1. Must have basic knowledge to be trained on how septic systems, grease traps and pump stations
work.
2. Must be able to be trained on how to operate vacuum truck pump systems and know all related safety procedures.
3. Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds and be physically able to dig up to 12 inches. Duties will include: digging up the manhole cover, dragging hoses, bending over holding the hose to pump the tanks, pumping tanks and traps, unclogging sewer lines.
4. Must have good handwriting, and be able to fill out reports, waste manifests, work orders and time sheets.
5. Must have good interpersonal skills and a professional manner as daily interaction with customers is required.
6. Must have basic knowledge to be trained on rules and regulations regarding waste disposal.
Experience Required:
1. Must have a valid CDL-B driver's license with tank endorsement and air brake restriction removed. (CDL-B Technician positions only)
2. No DUI, DWI, or Reckless driving charges within the last 5 years. All accidents and violations are
subject to investigation.
3. No truck rollovers.
